Kotelnica is associated with skiing, but in summer the slope changes character and becomes an open-air adventure park. From Legenda Lasu it’s 5 minutes away, making it the nearest bigger attraction in the summer season.
What’s waiting there
On the slopes there’s the Gravity Park with downhill bike trails for various levels. For those who don’t ride, there are monster rollers, off-road mountain scooters, good fun for older children too. A chairlift carries you up, the same one that serves skiers in winter, running in summer for cyclists and walkers.
An outing for half a day, or just a while
Being close makes the difference here. You’re not planning a whole-day expedition, you simply head out for a few hours and come back when the children, or your legs, have had enough. You spend the rest of the day at the cabin, by the fire or in the hot tub.
