From Legenda Lasu you’ll reach the upper station of Kotelnica Białczańska on foot in about 5 minutes, along a path through the forest. You don’t need a car to get to the slope.
It works both ways. In the morning you head down to the lift without hunting for parking, and you even get your first run down for free ;), and after skiing you come straight back to the cabin, to the fireplace and the hot tub. The stretch of forest between the cabin and the station means that, close as it is, you don’t get the traffic or the noise of the lift outside your window.
Kotelnica Białczańska is the largest ski resort in Podhale. At the lift there’s a ski school with instructors for children and adults, and an equipment rental, so you don’t have to bring your own.
In summer the same chairlift carries bikes and walkers up, and the Gravity Park operates on the slopes (Gravity Park Kotelnica in summer).
We’ve gathered the whole area on the Area and attractions page.
