In summer the area around Legenda Lasu comes alive with water. The Białka River, one of the last wild rivers in this part of the Tatras, flows crystal-clear right nearby, and its stony banks are a good place for a walk, a paddle and play for children on a hot day.
Kayaking and rafting
Kayaking trips are organised on the Białka, and a bit further off there’s a bigger draw: rafting on the Dunajec, around 30 minutes by car. It’s a great idea for a full day when you want something more active.
An active summer, in full
Water is one thing, but the area offers more in summer. On Kotelnica there’s the Gravity Park with bike trails and monster rollers (Gravity Park Kotelnica in summer), and the trails into the Tatras, the Gorce and the Pieniny start within a short drive. After a day on the move you come back to the hot tub and a fire in the garden.
