You’ll reach the upper station of Kotelnica from Legenda Lasu on foot in 5 minutes, along a path through the forest. No hunting for parking at the lift, no driving your skis around, you simply walk out of the cabin and you’re on the slope.
Ski-to-door without the crowd at your window
Being close to a lift usually means a trade-off: you have the slope on your doorstep, but also the traffic, the noise and neighbours wall to wall. Here it’s different. A stretch of forest separates the cabin from the station, so your walk is short and yet you live in quiet, on fenced grounds with no buildings nearby. The largest resort in Podhale
Kotelnica Białczańska is the most developed ski resort in the region. At the lift there’s a ski school with instructors for children and adults, and an equipment rental, so you can arrive without your own skis.
The evening after skiing
You come back frozen and sit straight down by the fireplace, with firewood waiting on site. Then the hot tub, available around the clock, eases your legs after a day of runs (Cabin with a hot tub). You leave your gear in a separate rack outside, so it doesn’t block the entrance.
Winter access
A dirt road leads to the cabin, but it’s maintained in winter too, so you’ll make it in an ordinary car. You leave the car in private parking behind a lockable gate.
